Fabric Requirements

v Approximately 20 different Christmas scraps of fabric for blocks

v 1M of Red fabric

v 75cm of Green Fabric

v 50cm of Fabric for Binding

v 1.2 M of Fabric for Backing

v 1.2 M square of Wadding

v 2.5 M of ribbon or cord for the ties

v Assorted Christmas buttons/charms optional

General requirements

v A sewing machine that you are familiar with

v Spare machine needles

v A quarter inch foot with a guide if you have one

v Sewing thread of a neutral colour

v A few pre-wound bobbins (this will save you time in class)

v Fabric cutting scissors and thread cutting scissors

v Cutting board and rotary cutter

v Quilter’s ruler (a 6 ½” x 12” is a good size for this class)

v Role of double sided sticky tape

v Pins, hand sewing needles and other sewing notions you feel you may require
